Our Doctor
Dr. Singh is a third generation physician. He was born in Nashville, TN. He went to UCLA where he graduated with honors in Biochemistry. He did his Podiatric Medical education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine and his surgical residency at the VA West LA. He did multiple mini-fellowships at the Russian Ilizarov Scientific Centre for "Restorative Traumatology and Orthopaedics" in Kurgan, Russia. This center is the world's largest orthopedic hospital for deformity correction and traumatology using the Ilizarov method. These Ilizarov surgical fellowships allow Dr. Singh to perform complex trauma and reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Singh also performs plastic surgery on the foot and ankle for diabetic limb slavage, ulcers and other pathologies. He had specialized training from Duke University Medical Center in flap and reconstructive surgery.
He also does much nerve surgery for those patients that have severe neuropathy.
Dr Singh is one of the few Foot and Ankle Surgeons who is Double Board Certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery, and Foot Surgery, as well as being an Ilizarov Fellow for Deformity and Trauma Correction. Dr. Singh is internationally-recognized for his outstanding expertise in foot and ankle surgery.
Dr. Singh lives with his wife and son in the Northwest suburbs in Illinois where he enjoys many sports activities especially long distance running, snow skiing, golf, table tennis, jet skiing and weight training. He also enjoys playng the piano. He is actively involved in his community and has performed charitable surgeries in Columbia, South America, Honduras and Mexico.
