At the Comprehensive Foot and Ankle Institute we utilize laser therapy services to help heal fractures. When our patients have a stress fracture, nonunion or postoperative surgical osteotomies, we utilize low-level laser therapy to help with bone formation and osteogenesis, so request an appointment if you are trying to heal a stubborn fracture. There are many growth factors that are activated through the low-level laser therapy and these in turn help with the osteogenesis and eventually bone formation. Our patients have less inflammation, swelling and faster healing of the bones.
