Laser Therapy and Healing of Wounds

December 28, 2025

Many of our patients have severe ulcers and wounds because of diabetes as well as peripheral vascular disease. We use laser therapy to help wounds to heal. Our laser allows for granulation tissue to form as well as collagen fibers and blood vessels. All of these can help increase the formation of good healthy tissue.

Our laser also helps decrease pain, increases the immune system and decreases the level of bacteria.  All of this can result in better wound care and healing of ulcers.
